The artist has currently been working on a large-scale painting with the title The Strange and Divisive Genius of William McGonagall, which has been produced in support of the MyName’5 Doddie Foundation charity for research into Motor Neurone Disease. It will be exhibited at this year’s Edinburgh Art Fair from September 19th– 21st, where it will be the subject of a blind auction to raise money for the charity. The artist’s well-known portrait of Hamish Henderson has now become an integral part of a new film produced and directed by Michael Lloyd of flyting films.
